Mang Baldo's boys. Err.. girls. No, boys (at Immaculate Concepcion Ladies Hall, España, Manila)

I miss my dormmates. I remember our sleepless nights: staying up with the Fine Arts students Ika, Joyce, and Jhaye while they cram their plates due the next day. I also remember our Fudge cafe Thursdays. Late night movie marathon. Food trips. Shopping for groceries at SM San Lazaro. Shakey's dinner when we're in good shape (read: when there were less projects and when it's start of the week, allowance was still intact. hehe).

Falling asleep during the 5 am mass. The horrible food at the dorm's refectory. Playing soccer inside the room. Experiencing the flood in España. Cancelled classes. Endless boy talks. "Sis, J-ai has a new boy" talks. Putting our beds close together so we could huddle during typhoon days.

Guitar-playing nights with Ara and Ika. Room 211 in Lady Beaterio Bldg. was always open. Always, meaning, it was never closed even while we slept. To the great dismay of Dean Sister Alice a.k.a. Stiffy.
