OMG eighties special effects have come a loong way lol. This afternoon I was reminded of a television show that became my favorite when I was barely seven. Shelley Duvall’s Faerie Tales. My sister told me we watched almost episode of it but I couldn’t remember any scenes of it that were adapted from popular fairy tales, except the one posted here. It’s from the Rapunzel episode. From my childhood up to this date, I still remember how things lead to this scene. The prince was blinded by Rapunzel’s witch of a stepmom, and even in his blindness the prince was able to find Rapunzel in the desert. Prior to that, she gave birth to fraternal twins. Alone. In the desert. Oh fairy tales. I can’t imagine how I reconciled the storyline as a child. Hahaha.
